reverent acres
Reverent Acres came to KBD with an unusual product and a compelling story — locally raised water buffalo from a family farm in Abbotsford, BC. The challenge was to introduce a less familiar meat to consumers in a way that felt premium and approachable, while honouring the genuine care this family brings to raising their animals.
I developed the brand from the ground up, beginning with strategy, naming and the idea of “Appreciate Your Meat.” The name Reverent Acres and supporting language including “Conscious Carnivore” created a distinctive voice around a more thoughtful relationship between farmer, animal and food.
That idea became the thread connecting the entire brand — from identity and packaging to photography, video, e-commerce, social media and the farmers’ market experience. The result is a cohesive brand that celebrates the animals, the people who raise them and the quality of the product they produce.
